COMPUTER SYSTEM ANALYST
QUALIFICATIONS:
Holder of Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science, with at
least one year working experience. Knowledge in Accounting and Payroll packages will be an added
advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(i)Advises / assists computer users
(ii)Analyses, designs and programs applications of simple to moderate complexity
(iii)Assists staff in design, debugging and programming systems
(iv)Installs standard software and desktop operating systems
(v)Installsnetworking hardware / software
(vi)Installs modems and dial-up networking
(vii)Manages server operating systems
(viii)Troubleshoots hardware / software problems
(ix)Install and maintain web server, website, database server, file server mail sever and group ware.
(x)Maintenance and diagnosis of network infrastructure.
(xi)Harmonization of computer system at every terminal computer and upgrading the whole computer system regularly.
(xii)Taking precaution against virus, system failure and Backup (data security).
(xiii)Train staff to be able to fully utilize the computers/network resource.
(xiv)Advice management on the latest ICT developments and their acquisition.
(xv)Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Reports to: The General Manager
Key Responsibilities Include:
1.To manage financial, human and physical resources of the company throughout the country;
2.To ensure accuracy and legality of all payments and integrity of the payroll;
3.To ensure proper records management and acceptable level of debtors and creditors;
4.To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and bank reconciliation statements;
and
5.To prepare Annual Plan and Budget.
6.Recommend to the General Manager and Board of Directors measures for maximizing shareholders’ worth.
Profile/Key Competencies:
1.Degree or diploma in accounting,being registered with NBAA and working experience of more than 3 years
2.Previous experience and ability to carryout activities in the whole accounting cycle up to preparation of financial statements;
3.Ability touse spreadsheets and accounting packages;and
4.Sound leadership skills,positive attitude to work, versatile, creative, team playerand hardworking.
