Mrisho Ngassa, MG 16
Mrisho Ngasa yesterday made apologetic remarks over his dramatic transfer and has joined the Mainland champions for the next premiership season.
Ngasa, whose outbursts and provocative gesture to kiss Young Africans jersey while serving for Azam during the Kagame Cup frustrated the ice-cream makers, is now a Simba player on loan.
He said Azam management should exempt him from all wrongdoings he committed to frustrate the ice-cream makers into putting him on transfer market early this week.
The former Young Africans striker, who played for four seasons before his historic transfer to Azam, now has to feature for Simba after signing a loaned transfer deal on Wednesday afternoon.
Azam and Simba had in the past signed transfer deals as players criss-crossed between the two top flight sides.
The last deal was a swap transfer when the late Patrick Mafisango joined Simba in exchange for Abdulhalim Humood.
Other Simba players who crossed over to Azam include Ramadhan Chombo and Jabir Aziz.
