Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Creating SOPs and generating and maintaining databases for specific clinical trials
· Overseeing databases, by having data clerks typing in the source data from the study patients' source documents into an electronic CRF or directly into the clinical trial database in a doubled manner
· Programming of automated checks - if there are inconsistencies in the data, the system should generate queries the investigators will have to answer to, and the incorrect data in the database will be corrected with an explanation.
· Maintaining the automated calculation system for the parasite densities, based on first and second (and sometimes third) reader in the laboratory as well as generating correct census and cohort (TB cohort, etc) databases and update them regularly (besides clinical trial databases)

Project Analyst
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT)
Duties to Include:
· The execution of project plans, under Project Manager’s direction for selection and implementation of HMS system.
· Leading the department to creating and understanding new system and new processes
· Evaluating vendor solutions and making recommendations based on CCBRT requirements
· Identifying gaps between CCBRT requirements and selected vendor’s system
· Working with the vendor to ensure solutions are created for CCBRT processes in the system
· Becoming a super user for new HMS and taking part in training and supporting staff on system
· Engaging in constant communication with key stakeholders and champions to keep them informed and engaged.

Institutional Capacity Building Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Work with the NAFAKA team to catalog capacity building activities to date
• Develop a template for the Capacity Building Action Plans (CBAPs)
• Work with the organizations to fill out the “Organizational Capacity Assessment Tool” (OCAT); this tool assesses legal structure, financial management and internal control systems, procurement systems, human resources, performance management and organizational sustainability indicators
• Using the OCAT, identify areas for organizational strengthening with the local partner; the OCAT will provide a baseline for tracking progress throughout the project
